I didn't even post about our silly GWH. But well, I've stepped down from SNSB now and I miss band so much.
Yes, well anyway... eventful.
You know what, LJ? I need to refocus. I need to get my drive back. I need to remember what matters to me - Me.
Yes, I know I know. Laugh all you will, but it's my life and it's my dream. It's my future and it'll be my legacy. It all starts here. I've been pushing and pushing. Stop testing the limits, Christine Lim. You'll just end up falling over the edge and there's no turning back from there.

Before today, I had some hope that the band will wake up their idea but after seeing what happened today, I have lost all hope.
For cripe's sake, can't you see that in a band, whatever we do should be in the interest of the entire group? No one's making any personal attack on anybody. You cannot control what others say but you can decide how you are going to take it then respond to it. Some just do not have the maturity. It is quite simply that.
Complain that we are generalising you. But then again you yourself are generalising us. Think first before you speak otherwise you make a fool of yourself.
Either way, Clarice and I have decided to wipe our hands off the band. But we can never give up on our section. I'll be honest, I can assure you that at this rate we're going, even the silver might be at stake, so I no longer aim for a gold. I only hope that my section will play well, do our very best and do justice to ourselves. Mr. Nonami's really particular about percussion so we must do our part and prove ourselves.
Sure we do not have the resources nor the guidance but we have to work within our constraints and produce the best sound we can produce. Remember that togetherness is key and we must cue each other in. Remember what Miss Akari taught us!
I know my juniors are really hardworking and we appreciate that so keep up the hardwork and most importantly, improve. It will pay off. Our section will give our best and there will be no tears no matter what the results are, all right?
Then we'll proceed to a 939180398 hours lunch at Cafe Cartel or something.

Where do I wish to wake up tomorrow?

I wish to be woken up by rays of sunlight, caressing my face as they flood through windows into my room, I slowly open my eyes and find myself in a charming little room, nicely tucked under the thickest, softest, warmest duvet I've ever touched. Slowly, I start to sit up and stretch, then feel around for my glasses. I put them on and everything around me starts to take form. I get out of bed and make my way towards the window. I open it and hear laughter, screams and the rings of bicycle bells. Looking down, hoardes of students are riding towards campus, lugging along stacks of books. My head looks up and my eyes transfixed onto the stone walls of a magnificent structure, an ancient institution that transported me to another era before my time. The phone rings and I snap out of it. My parents are on the other line, they say that they're doing fine, now travelling around the world with friends, they ask me how I'm doing and I say I'm doing fine too. I rush into the bathroom and out, get dressed, grabbed my books, dashed out of my room and down the stairs, out into the courtyard. There, a tall, fair young man with ebony hair and sapphire eyes waits for me with a lovely little red bicycle, the one I've always wanted as a little girl. We ride to school together.

If every single day of work brings me closer to my dreams, why wouldn't I enjoy it?
It is highly possible that I may not even come close to realising my dreams and I still will be left shattered and devastated, but I've never felt so alive, so happy before. Yes, it is hard, but how would I ever bear leading a life so full of regrets?
Right now, my focus is on my O levels and getting into a good Junior College. As tortorous as it is, I will get my life back on track.

All right, so I haven't posted in a pretty long while so here's a little summary of the past month:
Let's start off with the lessons we've learnt from all the exciting incidents leading up to the Genting competition.
Lesson #1: 
= EVIL
fo srs. Well, technically it was flip flops and sandals that got the band into trouble but I really want that pair of slippers, and just to highlight the absurdity of Susan Lim logic. (Hardly absurd, flip flops and sandals are disgraceful. Especially if you're wearing them to the beach.) Ironically, she was wearing sandals herself. But that's a different case, I suppose. She's always right. Because she's a teacher.
Lesson #2: 
Who knew 動力火車 was in charge of SN Track & Field? :D
No wonder our school dotes on them. It must cost a bomb to have her *cough* in charge.
Lesson #3:
School's a really dangerous place. You don't know it because all the bad guys only come out at around 5:45 pm. (By the way, the drug dealers are in 3 Loyalty's classroom) But it's still your fault really, because your communication with the teachers is rubbish. They would have told you.
Well yeah, I guess only P.E.Ts would get it. It's a lesser known story that I can't be bothered to type up, ask Liwen or something. Fine, I type it up.
STORY HERE: Basically, Percussion and E.Ts were having self prac in the music room the entire afternoon. Then when Liwen and I headed to the toilet by the P.E departmentat about 5:45, Susan Lim came out and started talking lots of BS about how dangerous it is, we're inconsiderate to the teachers because they (she) couldn't knock off as they (she) had to ensure our safety... in school. Yada. So we went back and told everyone to pack up and fuck off. We still needed the toilet though, and Xing came along with us. After relieving ourselves, Susan Lim stopped us right outside the toilet and once again let her menopause monster off on us. So anyway, Xing was fiddling with some keys in her hands and Susie was like "You know you've already broken the rules just by having possession of the key. What do you intend to do with it?" Xing quite timidly pointed out that it was actually her house keys. Fucking PWNED. It was quite funny. So anyway, after more BS from her (mostly directed to Liwen as the secretary of band), Susan decided that Xing was really rude for looking at the floor instead of her stunning face (yes stunning in the sense that you're STUNNED that the world could allow something so horrific to exist) and *refer to Lesson #4* Xing really wasn't rude, just intimidated. Rude would be my pai kia you-from-what-pai-i-get-my pai-to-beat-you-up "body language". And anyway, that night, Xing got a phonecall from potatoface that Susan Lim rejected her passport which was only 4 days overdue the six month valid thing. That's kinda the gist of it.
Moving on...
Lesson #4:
動力火車 has the right to expel you from St. Nicks because you're rude. Then you'll end up like that guy in the picture. Sigh, he still hasn't learned his lesson. Well, I better start packing my desk then because I think I'm pretty etiquette challenged.
Lesson #5:
Potatoes are two faced bastards.
And band teachers are all useless. (Except Miss Tey. Sure, may not be the most useful person around but she's really good natured and she should be appreciated simply for that)
Then we move on to GENTING
Lesson #6:
We aren't exactly the luckiest group of people in the world. Just, not even 10 minutes into the road trip, we met with an accident. It was a taxi too but was damaged worse than that. A picture can be found on the band blog which I will link you to later. We caused an epic traffic jam on Upp Thomson Rd though, and felt pretty awesome.
Lesson #7:
Fucking rubbish hotel man. The elevators were the worst. You can wait forever and it'll never come.
Lesson #8:
Our teachers. <3
Don't be decieved by their uselessness because they truly care for us. And they're only worried about our safety. Which is a perfectly good reason to smother us under their authoritative regime. And when they refuse to help us with transporting the instruments, it's merely because they think we could lose a few kilograms. And when they appear apathetic when it was announced *refer to lesson 9*, it's only because they have high hopes for us and this smelly competition means nothing and is below them. They're pretty important people, y'know.
Lesson #9: 
Yar, SNSB pwned in the end.
80%, Gold, Third place.
And so concludes the Genting trip.
Lesson #10:
I left all my textbooks in the primary classroom so I can't do any revision. I'm a genius.
Well holy fuck, it's the 12th of December already. And here I was thinking it was the 9th or something like that maybe. 4 more days. I don't wanna grow up.
